It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Riverview School website.  I trust you will find lots of helpful information and answers to many of the questions that are common to most parents, caregivers and visitors.

Riverview School has a growing roll, having grown by more than 100 children in the past 9 years.  We enjoy a wonderful link to our historic past, especially with Ngati-Rehia, our local hapu, who enrich our bi-cultural partnership in so many ways.  A growing number of children come from a range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, creating a diversity that is enjoyed by all.

We have excellent classrooms, tidy and pleasant grounds, with a variety of activities and physical challenges for the children.   Much of this is due to the community support we have in fundraising and to the excellent commitment from students, staff and families in making the school a place to be proud of.

Our students are at the heart of all we do, and we enjoy celebrating their many efforts and achievements.  We are focused not only on what they do, but also on the positive and respectful manner in which they do it.  Key to this are our HEARTWISE values, which permeate all school activities, helping develop independent, responsible and well-rounded students, with a foundation that prepares them for the future.

There is a great deal I could talk about, but this is just a welcome, so please look through our website to learn more.  If you wish to, come and see us, and see for yourselves what a great school this is, and you will be warmly welcomed.
