Riverview Primary School has, as its main focus, the total development of the children who attend. This is done in co-operation with you as parents. We aim to provide quality guidance and education for all children in these formative years, in · Social · Physical · Emotional, and · Academic growth and development We aim to provide this development in ways that appropriately cater for all levels of achievement, and to provide assistance and extension programmes. We aim to provide programmes that suit individual children at all stages of development, and to provide them all with levels of work that will meet their individual needs in a variety of ways. All of our academic programmes are based on the New Zealand National Curriculum Framework. To best enable us to achieve this goal, we need to work in a partnership with you as parents and caregivers. In addition, we welcome suggestions about possible improvements to the way in which we do things. This year, the Board of Trustees and the staff will continue to implement our plan to become the best school we can be, offering a sound education and an enjoyable and worthwhile start to schooling. We trust your child's education and your association with Riverview School is a rewarding one, and look forward to working with you.
